Fifth Inning Plays Key Role In Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity Blow Out Over Mountain View

The Sentinels knocked in 12 runs in the fifth on its way to a 19-1 victory over Mountain View on Monday.The Sentinels big bats were led by Kiley Avery, Taya Manzanares, Taegan Smith, Tasha Hokanson, Brynnlee Murdock and Lindsey Black, who each had RBIs in the inning.

The Sentinels tallied 12 runs in the fifth inning. Avery, Manzanares, Smith, Hokanson, Murdock and Black powered the big inning with RBIs.

Ashlyn Webb pitched the Sentinels to victory. The righty lasted five innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out three and walking zero.

The Sentinels tallied ten hits in the game. Murdock and Smith both managed multiple hits for the Sentinels. Murdock went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the Sentinels in hits.
