Manzanares Shines At The Plate In Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity Victory Over Lehi

Four hits from Taya Manzanares paved the way to victory for Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity over Lehi 18-3 on Tuesday. Manzanares singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and singled in the fourth.

Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the fourth inning. Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity’s offense in the inning came from doubles by Mylee Milne, Lindsey Black, and Tessa Hokanson, singles by Taegan Smith and Manzanares, and a home run by Tasha Hokanson.

Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning. Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity scored one run when Hokanson doubled.

Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity scored ten runs in the fourth inning. Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity offense in the inning was led by Smith, Milne, Hokanson, Black, Manzanares, and Hokanson, who all drove in runs.

Maryn Murdock got the win for Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity. The pitcher went five innings, allowing three runs on two hits and striking out four.

Humes took the loss for Lehi. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing 15 hits and 14 runs while striking out five.

Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity launched two home runs on the day. Hokanson had a homer in the fourth inning. Milne went yard in the fifth inning.

Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity collected 19 hits on the day. Manzanares, Kiley Avery, Hokanson, Hokanson, Black, and Milne all had multiple hits for Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity. Manzanares led Mountain Ridge Sentinels Varsity with four hits in five at bats.
